Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the India Macro API service (the "Service") operated by Async Labs (the "Company", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, generating an API key, or making any request against the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

The Service is a developer-facing REST API providing structured data on Indian macroeconomic events — including but not limited to releases by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), the Press Information Bureau (PIB), and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The data is aggregated from publicly available official sources and provided for informational and developer use only.

3. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law to use the Service. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information at sign-up;
Keep your password and API keys confidential;
Notify us immediately at ameeshkatariya@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Re-sell, resyndicate, or republish the Service's raw data under your own brand without a separate written agreement;
Exceed your subscribed rate limits, share API keys across organizations, or attempt to circumvent authentication;
Use the Service in any way that violates Indian law or the laws of any jurisdiction you operate in;
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service;
Use the Service to make trading or investment decisions without your own independent verification — see the No Financial Advice clause below.

5. No Financial Advice

The Service provides data only. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. All actuals are sourced from official Indian government publications, but we make no representation that the data is current, complete, or free from error. You assume full responsibility for any decisions made based on the data, including but not limited to trading, hedging, or investment decisions.

6. Subscription, Billing & Payments

The Service is offered on a tiered subscription basis — Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise — as described on our Pricing page. Paid subscriptions:

Are billed monthly or annually in advance via Razorpay or other authorized payment gateways;
Auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date;
Are subject to applicable taxes including GST as required under Indian law.

7. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access on Free or Starter tiers. Scheduled maintenance, source-data outages, or third-party infrastructure failures may interrupt the Service. Pro and Enterprise tiers may carry a separate Service Level Agreement (SLA), which will be provided in writing where applicable.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service's code, API design, documentation, and the proprietary structure and curation of the data are owned by Async Labs. The underlying raw economic data is in the public domain. You retain ownership of any applications or services you build that consume the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time without notice if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or attempt to defraud us or other users. You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us. Sections 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Async Labs, its founders, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address registered with your account at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
